  • Apache 2.4 users please ensure you are setup for .htaccess use. NGINX users need to block .employee files from being read by browser as well.
  • Go to ‘www.yourdomain.com/yourpath/install/install.php’ to start the installation process.
  • Use username: ‘admin’ and password ‘admin’ for the initial login. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Make sure to have your LOGO, Service Area Map image and Legal Terms PDF ready to upload at time of installation. These are all required to initiate the installer.
  • Upon completing the installation you should perform the configuration steps outlined below.
  • Setup your email account details in the Email Account setup menu.
  • Make sure to have your mail.yourdomain.com account details ready. You will need the HOST, Port Number, Username, Password and the receiving email recipient’s email address.
  • CREATE / REGISTER a new administrative account.
  • Delete the ‘admin’ account. Log out.
  • Setup your Tax Rates using the Tax Rate editor.
  • v.1.0.9 bug workaround – Upon pressing save in the Tax Rate editor the message will display stating taxes are recorded at which point you will need to do a hard Ctrl+R reload of the page to show the entered tax zone and rate. This will be fixed in a future release.
  • Review the provided License content text snippets using the License and Statement menu section, adjust the wording or styles to suit your needs.
  • You are now ready to generate the first estimate and submit the quote request. Visit www.yourdomain.com/yourpath/index.php or simply www.yourdomain.com/yourpath/ to access the quotation system.
